i enter the game, the beginning shot of the building is fine and there but when i “wake up” everythinf is pure white :(( i havent been able to play the game at all because of it

I genuinely can't find it, I've looked all over the place. I found one in every room except for the sewers, the dungeon master room, and the ratman's arcade... and the museum... . Any hints please? At least the room it is in! ...

After the beginning cut-scene all graphics but the GUI are pure white for me. This happens even after I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. Here's a screenshot showing the bug; https://imgur.com/a/yxtFavS

After finishing the quest for Lady Lashes I thought it would be wise to hunt the off path of the sewers for hidden poker chips. Unfortunately, a turn that I took made a green anthropomorphic rat appear for one frame, and then teleport-ed me to a blue and black void. The "p" key for the quick teleport back to the last save unfortunately just reloads me into the void, and has effectively soft-locked my game.
