I am really on the fence about recommending this game or not as I probably would have skipped on buying it if I knew ahead of time,
Pros;
- Mech design and customization; (Why do mechs need pupils in their eyes?)
- Wide variation of weapons.
- Speed of the mechs furring game play.
- Adding in 4 mechs from different franchises was really pretty dam cool.

Cons;
- The story is just a roller coaster between interesting and boring. The ending felt so rushed and should have started 5 chapters sooner and in the end it really put me off with the game.
- ALL the missions are the same, go to a section of the map, beat X enemies, continue a few more times till you get to the boss and beat him.
- Having parts of the story play durring the game and if you stop to read it, you can get hit by the enemies. Would have been better to pause the battle to read what was going on.
- Having to enter cockpit mode to try and activate your super move is a pain in the ass.

I do hope the developers work on some changes to the game, and perhaps offer up some DLC that changes the mission type. I never saw the anime the game is from, but there was a lot there that reminded me of the old school mech / super robo anime shows I grew up with.

There are other mech titles that are able to pull off the execution between game play and story a lot better (sorry to say). The rushed ending.... I do feel a bit cheated as I did play a good amount of time, and then it was over and first thing I thought was "That was it?"

So, with those things being said, if they buyer is aware of these things... then I would recommend it.

F*ck Microtransactions (if you want new pilot out fit/skin you must buy separately at DLC as same as monster hunter rise)

Is it fun, yes. however, the amount of cutscenes in this game IS UNREAL. midfight? cutscene. in a cutscene? cutscene. going to bed? Cutscene. its not 1 or two, its like 5-6 everytime. Game is fun though
