NWN2 OC: anyone know of good robe for melee character?

I'm running a Kama no kaze build through the OC and later (not yet) MotB. That build is made by F12 for feats/BAB/damage along with Monk 11 for evasion/expose weakness and greater flurry.

The question though is if there is a good robe in OC? I think I'm wearing a +4 monk robe right now and my hand slot just has a +2 Strength gauntlet. I think some of the crafting robes my crafters might not have the right spells to make. Qara is my Craft Arms and Armor and Sand is my Craft Wondrous Item (no mage armor spell because he is wrong specialty school).

Starting out that +4 is probably ur best bet there's another robe called "robe of the dark moon" dont remember where its at but has haste spell on it but no ac bonus. Deeken in Act 1 in merchant quarter has some interesting gear to sell. Your best bet is to craft your own but it may be a while before you or ur companions have the skills/materials to do so if your'e just starting out.

You would also want to have at least one companion with access to clerical spells for magic armour crafting since some recipes call for them. I use Elanee for this since you get her pretty quick to supplement Amie whom I use for all crafting skills since you get her from the get go and can spend her feat and skill points as needed plus the fact she gets plenty points and bonus feats as a Wizard at certain pre-epic levels to make use of.

Do you use a mod for Amie to survive the prologue? Just curious. I ended up giving Qara Craft Wondrous items and she could make bracers +8.

No mod needed, there's a minor exploit which one can use to avoid the mage battle which triggers her death scene. I can run you through it if your interested.but a wizard can easily swap out spells unlike Qara the sorcerous who is stuck with what she's learned.
