NWN2: SOZ perfect for Ultima Savage Empire?

Of all the Ultima games, Savage Empire was one of my favorites, but it's an ancient DOS game that could be brought to life in Storm of Zehir. Savage Empire has an area size similar to SOZ, good overland exploration leading into open cities, and excellent dungeons. Wonder if anyone considered a Savage Empire Mod or other Ultima Mods?
