Bad ending despite collecting all orbs?

I have 5/6 orbs (it shows on the map) and I went to fight Calaca, did an all melee run (couldn't get the meteors to hit him) and got the orb but my mask wasn't complete? I only realised there was a good ending when the mask was incomplete and the ending was obviously sad and there HAD to be a better ending but I didn't get it!

I seem to have done everything and gotten gold in every room except El Infierno which was DLC anyway. Any clue as to what's happening?

There're 7 orbs total, last one you got for beating Calaca but since you only had 5 before going into this fight you got bad ending. TL;DR: You missed one.

Oh ok, I did the Pollo cave, the Tule tree, the Agave field, the Sierra one and the Forest one. What else did I miss?

You missed one in El Inferno apparently, after getting 10 gold medals an elevator will be unlocked which leads to satans cabinet which in turn leads to the final orb.

Wait WHAT? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I don't have time for this crap. I think I'll have to let the good ending go. Great game but the El Infierno levels are a tad too much for me. Thanks for the info
