First of all, set your expectations right before starting this game: this is not FIFA or eFootball. This is a purely arcade-style, fast-paced game. The core gameplay is actually very enjoyable, but the claims of it being "skill-based" unfortunately do not reflect reality. If the flaws are fixed, it could be a fantastic game, but in its current state, it can be quite frustrating.
🟢 PROS (The Good Parts)
* Fluidity and Fun: The gameplay is incredibly fun and fast. It has a constantly rewarding feel, and the flow of the game really draws you in.
* Excellent Server / Connection Quality: Matchmaking is incredibly fast; I don't remember waiting more than 30 seconds to find a match. There is absolutely no ping issue. You get around 50 ms, but oddly enough, even when I had 100 ping, the game ran buttery smooth without a single stutter. I have no idea how they achieved this, but technically, they did a great job.
* Unique Squad Building: Every player's squad feels unique and special. This uniqueness and the feeling of improving your own team add a really nice touch to the game.
🔴 CONS (My Criticisms)
* Goalkeepers Are Completely Useless: Goalkeeper ratings (whether 40 or 90) mean absolutely nothing in this game. In 1v1 situations, there is zero chance of missing; whether it's a finesse shot or a regular strike, every shot goes in. The goalkeeper AI and handling are terrible; they can only occasionally save long-range shots. In short, the game would function exactly the same if there were no goalkeepers at all.
* No Defense Mechanics & Pace is Everything: The biggest factor in the game is simply PACE. If your striker is fast, they just get behind the defense and score. Defenders have no option to pull the opponent's shirt from behind or slow them down; you just can't catch up. Since the ball is practically glued to the players' feet, you can easily dribble past the entire defense just by zig-zagging with a fast player. Defending is almost impossible.
* Unfair Matchmaking & Pay-to-Win (P2W): The developers claim the game isn't P2W, but it definitely is. When my team is 70-rated, I constantly face opponents with an 85 average and high-tier cards. For example, if the opponent bought the Ronaldinho pack and knows how to play even a little bit, it's guaranteed they will beat you just by zig-zagging around.
* Heavy Momentum / Scripting: There is no competitive feel to the matches; you either win 10-0 or get heavily defeated. If you finish the first half 3-0 up, your team starts acting clueless in the second half. Your defensive line breaks, and passes don't connect. Meanwhile, the opponent suddenly gets a speed boost, passes perfectly, and positions flawlessly. The game literally pushes the losing player forward unfairly.
Conclusion:
The core foundation, speed, and infrastructure of the game are very solid. However, due to poor goalkeeper AI, lack of defensive mechanics, a pace-only meta, unfair matchmaking, and heavy momentum scripting, it completely loses its competitive feel after a while. It's worth a try, but it desperately needs serious updates.
