Before we get into the nitty gritty, this is a HARD game and there are some bugs present. That being said, it is clear that the developers of Dive The Depths have put a lot of passion and love into their game. With near constant bugfixes since launch, I am excited to see this game grow into its potential as I have found a game I can truly sink hours into.

If you work past the initial difficulty curve as well as the bugs, you will find a charming game, a love letter of sorts to Terraria. It has beautiful environments, an amazing soundtrack, a variety of unique and interesting weapons to play with, relics that feel impactful that you celebrate getting, and a game that will challenge your ability to dodge and find windows to outplay whatever enemy or boss you match up against. While admittedly a rough launch, I am excited to see where this game goes.

Excellent little roguelike that plays sort of like Terraria mixed with Risk of Rain, visuals are great and the gameplay loop is fun
Initially had a good amount of bugs but the worst offenders seem to have been fixed with the latest patch
Looking forward to more updates since the game has a lot of promise

The secret boss keeps activating when i'm low level and in no place to fight it, it has happened every time i've tried played but 2. I love everything except the first stage secret boss. I don't know what is happening half the time its activated.
