What is your shark tier list? Here is mine:
Here is mine:

1. Tiger - Best all around shark. Good on every map. Almost as fast as a mako with the ability to cloak and it can avoid detection. Weakness: low stamina pool.

2. Bull - I debated a lot on this one, but I think the bull shark, with a good teammate to generate rage, is one hell of a beast. A potentially infinite health pool gives it the ability to stay in the room and kill all 4 divers if they arn't careful, or come in and out killing them one by one, only losing its temporary hit points. Weaknesses: vulnerability to nets, can be fought in open water, and takes a while to set up.

3. Mako - In my opinion the hardest shark to use properly. You rely on hit and run tactics that require powerful tail, but once mastered the fastest shark in the game is a force to be reckoned with. Weakness: super low health pool.

4. Thresher - My personal favorite, the thresher is the ultimate team shark. It can make the diver's life hell by damaging multiple at once leaving them ripe for the picking. It also boasts one of the fastest times to kill with a maxed out ability. Weaknesses: Low health and low thrash damage.

5. Great White - The strongest shark in the early game, but tends to fall off as divers get the right equipment (heavy barrel). However, I'd recommend this shark to all new comers since it is easier to use than the others. It has the highest base health pool and sprints around rather than darting/lunging. Weaknesses: Slow and a big♥♥♥♥♥target.

6. Hammerhead - It can be a beast on the right map, like Galleon. But the best divers are not afraid of the hammer. The net gun is a hard counter and this shark is the worst of all at fighting divers in open water. However, if you are looking to stomp some newbs, the hammer is the shark for you since most new players don't know how to handle it. Weaknesses: Net gun and open water.

7. Goblin - Honestly I don't know much about this shark since I don't see it or play it much, but my impression is that it is trash.

All depends on the map and skill level of the opponents.

I love playing HH, but can never do well against good divers. Same with Bull. Both are extreme noobstompers but can easily be countered by good divers if you let them get enough gold. I consider GW and Tiger in lower tiers because they're by far the easiest to play, and there's hardly any way a decent player can lose with these against a newer team. They're high tier in how they can perform, but in my opinion because of crutches so I put them lower. Mako and Thresher are in the highest tier overall to me because it feels they both take more skill to play than any other sharks since they die very quickly and early Threshers are stuck in place until after a few kills. Thresher multikills are also insanely satisfying. Goblin is meme tier.

Not really a list there. Oh well.

Making lists is hard because they are map and skill based, plus how good or bad the divers are in order to counter it. I'll just make a list for when it matters, aka when both divers and sharks know their stuff.

1: great white, because it starts off strong and is good at early game gold denial due to pressure

2: tiger, because it's one of the best vs premades, with the right build you can get in and out without being seen in that king skin.

3: hammerhead, if they can't deny PT/NF points until about mid second safe, where they can get drag / tranq or nets, the shark can play aggressively and early game down you too many tickets, which hurts comeback chances late game.

4: mako, because if you can use PT right in open maps, not even splitting aps/ads can hardly damage you. It's a good shark for hit and run, which can be strong, especially on certain maps

5: thresher, while its a good shark, players should not be stacked up in this situation, causing an awkwardly slow and condensed point gain because it's likely you'll only get 1 or 2 kills a go, unless your partner is only good at leaving them damaged but never dead. It's also a very loud shark when it lunges so a diver with a surround sound headset will ruin your day.

6: Bull, this shark is nothing more than a pubstomper for low levels. Easily countered by nets due to massive hitbox, volleyjet, even a spear gun will do decent damage if it catches you before you rage. It also promotes slow gameplay due to build-up so you're not placing much gold denial on the divers, only your teammate is.

7: Goblin, still haven't even slightly found out what this thing is useful for, besides a brief distraction for a teammate to get in. Vs high levels, they know your clones move like a bot, so the e is near rendered useless except to see it follow a DPVer you can't find so you can kill it.

A good hammerhead should always be on top of any list, and (((goblin))) being on bottom because its cancer trash
How do you deal with good divers who fight in open water as hammerhead?

Go for STEVE.

1. Mako: If it wasn't for this shark's miniscule grab hitbox, I'd say this thing was overpowered. It's not the best early game, but if your teammate is at least capable of getting kills you will quickly be able to snowball out of control and be unkillable. You won't kill very quickly most of the time (unless the divers are all in open water and it's dark) but you are very difficult to kill without a drag VJ, which is an OP weapon as is.

2. Tiger: Basically mako but with a bigger bite-box that has to play a little more cautiously because it doesn't have the stamina to do hit and runs without proper evolutions. Some say it's a good all-rounder but I'd say it's really not, it's just not countered by anything very well so it works in almost every situation.

3. Thresher: If you are playing thresher to kill groups, you're playing it wrong. While you can and should aim for this when you can, your goal should be to create chaos and leave lots of damaged divers lying around. This shark is the best gold denier in the game, not by actively denying gold (it's actually kinda mediocre at this because of its reduced thrash damage), but because it can destroy deployables and injure divers without even biting them, meaning divers either waste money on deployables or don't use them at all (except flares), and must plow through medikits or accept they're probably going to be easier to pick off for both sharks. The reason I consider Thresher number 3 instead of any higher, is because it's loud, can't sprint with a diver in its mouth, and it's countered hard by the VJ.

4. Great White: Powerful throughout the whole game, but particularly shines early game. It's harder to counter than the mako or thresher because of its E ability and sheer bulk, but at the same time because of its size if not used for hit and run you're just going to be trading kills which isn't the best thing to be doing. It's definitely the best tank shark in the game, but it's outclassed by the faster sharks in most play.

5. Bull: This shark is total garbage early-game. However, once you get Vitalized Frenzy, even without upgrading your ability, this shark is the master of pressure, and honestly I'd say becomes better than the GW. Even with nets, this shark's sheer tankiness brought on by its ability means that it at least opens up the opportunity for its teammate to get a few kills. The only downside I have to say to the Bull that puts it at 5 rather than 4 is that because it sucks early game, if the divers deny kills early game, you are crippled the rest of the game and are mostly dead-weight.

6. Hammerhead: Has two viable strategies: Stomp early game and then hope you stomped hard enough to not be totally crushed late-game, or have your teammate also go HH, get two kills each for Headstrong, and destroy STEVE. the first one is easier to do but versus divers who know what they're doing is usually a loss waiting to happen, the second one requires coordination and will probably get you better results in the end, but is still pretty tricky to do.

7. Goblin: Worst shark in the game by quite a bit. Not useless, but the least useful shark. It really doesn't bring anything to the table and is completely outclassed in every way because of that. I have a lot of fun playing it, but I recognize it's complete garbage and really only useful if your opponents don't know what they're doing :P

switch hammerhead and mako, put thresh lower and you have yourself an accurate list

Best to worst, against a complete team of experienced divers:

Tiger, Thresher, Great White, Hammerhead, Goblin, Mako, Bull.

Best to worst against noobs:

Hammerhead, Bull, Great White, Thresher, Tiger, Mako, Goblin.

überalles is a single word 4Head

On topic it depends on a lot of things. For example, I played as Gobling with a friend as Bull, got Vitalized Frenzy + Seals -> Spam illusions = Always max rage bull.

Anyway my top 1 is Great White simply for being a braindead shark you win by trading and eventually once you have lvl 3 E you can easily get 2 kills and keep trading favorable now gg ez.

all sharks are good you just need to do damage to win so be good with one and you surely be good with all
