They tend to be pretty stinky/mildewy coming out of storage, fair warning. Stick them in a bag with some dessicants or attached to a small dehumidifier, and then once they're dry, go and put them in a bag in a freezer for a couple of days, that should make it smell a lot better. This same trick works with shoes, too, because it kills the odor causing bacteria.
To round out our demoing outfits we used generic olive drab coveralls/flight suits, so long as it fits and is in OD, you are good. Variety of suppliers and types.
For some gear we used surplus Swedish combat rigs and military flashlights. I can't recommend this site (keepshooting.com) enough for really cheep but useful, functional surplus. Unfortunately they no longer carry the combat rig, so I linked a site that still has a picture uploaded. The combat rig is great at cons because the great big pouches the whole thing fits into are very handy storage.

Other than that, a pair of Rothco Vietnam-era reproduction jungle boots: https://www.armynavyusa.com/Rothco-Mens-Olive-Drab-GI-Style-Jungle-Boots-p/rtc-5080.htm?1=1&CartID=0 (warning that these stink of petroleum as well, never found a good solution to that one but they are handy for a lot of different military themed cosplay.)
So with the tanker cap, flight suit and boots, you are definitely a canon Loyalist, the rest is absolutely up to you. We deliberately mixed up a bunch of different military equipment to give the tech and supply chains of this distant colony planet it's own indeterminate/mixed-up vibe, so see what you can find for combat rigs or other cool looking surplus and make it your own! Hope to see some pictures posted if you follow through on it. Good luck!
Good luck! And please send/post pictures once you've got something put together!
And while your at that, got anything on the Corvids too?
This is correct hahahahaha. Gauss will have a proper answer for you soon though.
Corvids are the easiest one, almost anything goes. The basics would be a blue or navy coverall/flightsuit, military gear, and some kind of headgear of really any kind, so long as something is painted blue-green. Channel your Mad Max / Orks from WH40K, really anything that's ad hoc will work. As far as more off the shelf, the most common headgear is probably any kind of motorcycle helmet. A lot of their gear is the same as Loyalists, just looser and not standardized for gear or uniform.
This guy did a great job with his Corvid cosplay: https://twitter.com/kissesfingers/status/843612653851475968
Spacers are the least well defined, but there's an opportunity there I suppose. The headgear as depicted is meant to be kind of glossy/gel sort of thing, and the big blue chestpieces seen in most of the pilot portraits are the same. Not going to be easy to represent. Beyond that, very sleek, futuristic is the key; probably some kind of wetsuit or catsuit would be appropriate to wear. I didn't base the headgear on anything existing, so I honestly don't know where you'd start for representing it with an off the shelf item this side of some very clever custom building. Tricky! We welcome all creative interpretations, of course :)
