Changes

Systems

Added Camera Smoothing options to settings: Normal (default/current), Low, and Off
Added functionality to Character Delete screen
- The screen will now display the character class/mastery/level
- When deleting a character, you are now required to enter the character name to confirm the deletion

Controller

The "B" button on controller can now be used to close keybind prompts
After binding a controller button, the cursor now re-focuses on the corresponding binding

Other

Reduced gold turn-in reward for Desert Treasure from 20k to 2k
Added Buff Icon for Bone Armor (Acolyte)
Improved performance when picking up Shards

Bug Fixes

Animations

Fixed an issue where the Mage would T-pose during some animations
Fixed several cases of back-slot clipping and floating capes
Fixed a bug where the Sentinel idle animation with a 2H weapon would behave as if a shield was equipped

Controller

Fixed a bug where if a panel was opened with keyboard and mouse, further button presses via controller would activate the assigned skills through the panel
Fixed a bug where when opening the bindings menu, or interacting with it, with a mouse, would result in the bindings disappearing
Fixed a number of bugs with rebinding controller configuration
Fixed a bug where players would continue to run in the direction of their last input if the game became unfocused while moving

UI

Fixed a bug where player health bars were not appearing in offline
Fixed a bug where Forged Weapons' health bars could be displayed at top-of-screen instead of the boss' health bar
Fixed missing Localization in the Gifting panel for resonances
Fixed a bug where Item Tooltips would get stuck when adding a new tab to the stash
Chat channels are now specific to cycle/non-cycle
Fixed a bug where Husk enemies would not have health bars

System

Fixed a bug in offline where players would not have full health, mana, and potions after logging in or reviving
Fixed a bug where invalid offhand items could be equipped from the forge (eg. catalyst with a bow)
Fixed an issue where monolith quest progress would reset if you left the zone/server after starting, but before completing the quest chain.

Skills

Fixed a bug where Bone Curse "Signet of Agony" node's resulting aura would persist after de-speccing out of the skill
Fixed a bug where Erasing Strike's "Ravenous Void" node's void beams wouldn't move in online play
Fixed a bug where Volcanic Orb could be cast in incorrect directions, such as flying up when the cursor was over top of a ridge line
Fixed a bug where if you teleported back to the monolith hub or rest area while a companion was downed, the revive UI would continue to persist even after being revived.
Fixed a bug where Manifest Armor was not benefiting from Increased Area for Area Skills stats on items the player is wearing that are applied to Manifest Armor, such as on gloves
Fixed a bug where the Gathering Fury unique bow's chance to repeat bow abilities was applying to non-bow abilities, and could kill the player if it repeated a Falcon ability
Fixed a bug where Boardman's Plan's chance to summon a Storm Totem on hit with Tempest Strike was not working
Fixed a bug where triggered instances of Tempest Strike were not benefiting from the Tempest Strike skill tree
Fixed a bug where Bone Curse's Marrow Thief node would not grant 10% less damage taken
Fixed a bug where Death Seal's Skeletal Sheath always granted Bone Armor for a fixed duration, ignoring the duration Death Seal was active
Fixed a bug where Firebrand's Galvanize node would disable Brand of Arcanus
Fixed a bug where Flame Rush could cause the player to become invisible

The fix for Death’s Embrace mentioned on Friday wasn’t quite able to make the cut-off time for this patch, and is expected to be included with next week’s patch.

Gathering loot

I pickup yellows and blues. The idea is to have something with free slots to actually put something i like. But the bags are full a lot since i started monoliths. Should i just stop grabbing the blues, considering the use i have for them? (Still low level)....

Ok, I think I played long enough to review this ARPG.

TL;DR: Over 2200 hrs played and I love it! There could be improvements and more content and it is coming down the pipeline

Disclaimer... I'm a filthy single player casual who plays offline only, that being said... I didn't use any specific pre-made builds for the classes, as I enjoy discovering skill synergy through experience and playing the game OFFLINE, now on to my opinion.

CLASSES

Void Knight is a fun class (level 98 Sentinel, 200 corr)
Paladin is a fun class (level 100 Sentinel, 200 corr)
Spellblade is a fun class (level 94 Mage, 200 corr)
Beastmaster is a fun class (level 68 Primalist)

Forge Guard is not a fun class (level 94 Sentinel)
Necromancer is not a fun class (level 95 Acolyte)

STORY AND GAMEPLAY

The story is my favorite to play through, I played it many times and it keeps you going from point A to B at a fast pace and engages you with mystery, interesting areas, enemies and allies as you venture your way through Eterra as a mysterious time traveler who has to put order back into time and fight back the chaos of the all consuming void of Orobyss.

As you play through the story, many items will drop. LE offers a way to filter all Items (shift-F) by affixes, rarity and many more. It's a very useful tool and will make item drops more worthy of your class design choices as you progress - I personally just filter out what I don't need depending on the class I chose and by the affixes I want to build my character with.

The Lore of Eterra is mysterious and engaging, keeping you interested into the characters and why everything is happening around the "Epoch". As the main story unravels around you and your chosen fate, the Epoch quickly becomes the center of attention as the last Artifact of Eterra her self, a god in the world with the same name who has vanished, her opposite - is Orobyss, the dark vile god who was only happy when the universe was dark and cold nothingness.

Last Epochs multiverse of time paradoxes is an interesting approach to the idea of an endless loop of game-play, keeping the traveler occupied by endlessly running the "Monolith", timelines which hold Echo islands of lost time and ruined futures that could be holding perfect items you've been looking for. LE also offers a crafting system via the "F" key which allows you to make items with affix shards, runes and Glyphs - all of these components are collected through combat or rewards and are used to manipulate the affixes of the item to be more usable to your build or to make them stronger.

When you do find that perfect unique and that juicy exalted item you will be able to make a "Legendary" item by combining them in a "Temporal Forge", which can only be accessed via a dungeon key that drops from fighting common area bosses. Legendaries depend on the Legendary Potential (LP) of a Unique item, where all or a few Affixes from an exalted item can be fused/applied to the Unique - creating a Legendary item is all RNG of course - but hopefully you'll get want you want eventually, just don't forget to time shift with the "D" key to pick up that sweet new item after forging.

As you get stronger, you will farm even harder Monoliths called "Empowered Monoliths" this version of the monolith is much stronger, offering increased pain modifiers and challenges to the end goals for the player to overcome. Corruption is the key to success, as you will be grinding more and more of it by defeating the echo quest boss to stack "Gazes" these gazes increase the amount of corruption you gain by defeating a shade of Orobyss. The higher your corruption, the more unique loot will drop with LP. (This is the current end game of Last Epoch)

MUSIC

I love the music of Erik Desiderio, I think he nailed the 80ies vibe fantasy pretty good, and like Steve Pardo this will be among my favorite ARPG game osts ever.

Maybe im getting older, or maybe the games are all the same but this game is just boring. Its all there if you want something to kill but theres nothing here mind blowing or good enought to make me want to pick this back up.

Whats with the long load up?

I click play and the EXE takes at least 20-30 seconds to load up? I have a powerful gaming PC. Im just curious why it takes at least 20 seconds for it to load
