that's like my entire point yeah. assumptions are based on incomplete information, emotion, prior experience and logic leaps based on incomplete information.
as for Talos the only bit of a hint i could find is that the Banished card art often depicts enemies or units with an odd outlier being Demonize. the person in this art is featureless and grey it honestly looks out of place compared to other Banished card art. the lore is a direct quote from Talos alluding towards her being the one demonized. usually cards targeting enemies feature enemies but i could see this being a place holder for Talos or i am just looking way too much into everything cause i want the game to be out already.
in conclusion i think the dragon hoarding a pile of gold in the last screenshot on the store page is Lady Gilda. Lady Gilda could be an alternate champion or a rare unit for Pyreborne. for Talos she could be the Lazarus League champion or the alternate Banished Champion
Welp, time to watch the trailer at 0.25 speed again.

From a dev: "correct full game has two champs per clan"
nice thanks this would be confirmation. however, I can't seem to follow this link. this is all I get when I do

Makes sense, given the reasons stated before. Not surprising at all that there were 2 per clan.
That is so awesome, hopefully they'll expand even further on it! It's honestly exciting to see how much oomph!! they're already putting into just the base game, which is already launching with far more content than the base game for mt1 was.
I might sound like a disgusting shill for saying this, but personally I'd happily pay for another dlc. For this game specifically.
you did not tell me so only one person in this topic told me so
Dude never even said he doubts it or they wont, just he isn't 100% certain. I mean heroes of might and magic 4 didn't have all the factions of 3, heck 5 doesn't have all the ones of 3. Age of wonders 3 doesn't have frostlings and tigrans on launch like 2,
Not sure why you're wanting to try and kill people on a hill nobody else was even standing their ground on.
Post #5 " I feel like its safe to assume there's 2 champions per faction in this game too."
Safe to assume so translates to "yes, there's 2 champions per faction in this game too"
Which you took issue with and for some weird reason began arguing against. And then later (Post #13) I even doubled down and said you'd feel silly once its revealed that there are 2 champions.
So yes, I told you so.
Let's hope this time around it's even more than 2 per faction.
Assume
verb
1.
suppose to be the case, without proof.
"it is reasonable to assume that such changes have significant social effects"
You did not
Why would you think I would feel silly? You think I wanted there to be only 1 per faction? You are a very odd individual.
I hope so too especially since there are fewer factions. However, I haven’t seen anything to suggest that could be the case unfortunately.
