Edit : This originally came from PCMR reddit but PC gamer gave credit to polygon and wrote an article on it
So stupid this is the world today...
The DEVELOPERS having to promote this to just have a right to share ART.
Disgusting.
Isnt quite the same, you support the devs. meaning you give the money to those who worked on it, those who worked on the 2nd game may not of worked on the 1st game. So if your buying copies of the 1st game to show your support, a portion of that profit doesnt go to the devs who only worked on the 2nd game.
so to do that, only way is to VPN to somewhere else and buy up keys at your convenience.
By now this should be protocol for if a game gets banned in your country, you know what to do.
unless the publisher tells us of paypal acc for us to 'donate' money into, i might email them and insist on it! wait for the game to be released though...
suppose the store page for australia will be removed by then. Be careful with your VPNs, valve dont exactly like you vpn location switching. At least don't do it with your main steam account.
This was the answer I was looking for. Didn't want to risk wasting 6 tf2 keys trading for a copy only to find that the game is unplayable... Thanks
