Is there a way to change the songs in the game?
I love the soundtrack, but is there a way to change the files or something?

The music files are in the hlm2_data_desktop.wad file, you can replace them.

How do you look in the files?

With this tool: https://github.com/TcT2k/HLMWadExplorer/releases

You can inspect or change any file you want.

It isn't opening any information, it's just blank..

In the top left, open file, then open 1 hlm2_data_desktop.wad

Yea, I know how to open it, but how do I actually change the music for each level?

Search for music in the search bar to the top right; all the music is saved as .ogg

To change the music put the song you have in .ogg format, select the song you want to change, then from there go to resource, replace, and replace it with the song you have. Then go to file again, and save it.

Also, as with all modding, make sure you back up your save files beforehand so that it doesnt corrupt if something goes wrong.

It didn't change. I went to resource and replaced it with the ogg file, but the title stayed the same and the song ingame didn't change either.

Did you remember to save? Also, if I might ask, what is the song you're trying to change, and what song are you trying to change it to?

I'm trying to change Dust (the game-complete song) to Jasper Byrne's 'Miami.' (the game-complete song from the first game)

Does this only work for the gameplay ones, or does it matter?

It should work for all music; I'm trying to see if it works right now.

I'm gonna change every track in the game to Paris

It worked for me, so I am not 100% sure what went wrong for you.

It could possibly be one of these three things:
1. You didn't save it
2. Jasper's Miami isn't in .ogg format {LINK REMOVED}
3. You selected the wrong music file
