Keyboard or controller?

What's the better way to play this game? I have a Xbox One controller on hand but would it be better to play with the mouse and keyboard?

Both work fine.
I'd suggest trying both and going with whatever feels more comfortable.

Most people use kb+m as far as I can tell.
Personally I've played through both games using an Xbox 360 controller.
Worked for me, ymmv though.

I use the PS4 controller to play. To me the K&M controls just seem really weird. I also find that I can aim better with a controller on this game.

Keyboard and mouse. Trust me. Feels a lot better that way.

i got A+/S rank in all levels in both games with a dualshock 4 (haven't started hard mode yet) but when i see videos of KB+M play they aim guns more quickly and accurately than i ever could on an analog stick

I have only played the game at a friends house. While I was there, we tested the difference between Mouse+Keyboard and Controller.
We both had a better time with mouse+keyboard.
