"Sampling" - if you used vocal shouts, drumloops etc in your track but not lead melody. I wondering - Akira Yamaoka is know something about this "SAMPLING"?

Here's a direct quote from El Huervo himself: "It's an homage to the great Akira Yamaoka who's been a MAYOR influence to me." To which I replied "Can you plz put this on spotify?" to which he replied, "Yeah it'll be on spotify eventually"

So, plaegerism? I don't know. Inspired? Heavily.
