Rage mode?

Much appreciated, but this is stupid as all hell. Why is he suddenly able to melee a guy just because he's mad? Kind of upset that I couldn't be a pacifist the whole playthrough, but at least now I can continue doing Hard Mode. Thanks again.
In the above video, you can see that he is impossible to knock out, which is why I was upset. I never even KNEW that you could do Rage Mode until I was told so.
Exactly. I didn't look up anything until I started doing achievement hunting, but I had to look this up, because as you've said, I've tried literally everything that I knew of and nothing worked. Looked for special environmental hazards and everything. I didn't know Rage Mode was a thing until this level.
The issue has been solved. When you play as The Writer, and you go to knock someone out, don't get off of them. Continue to press M1 until you kill them, then press M2. Do this 2-3 times and you'll be able to use guns as normal. The Chainsaw Enemy can only be killed by guns, so you have to do this in that level.
Everyone here is stating on how you have to use a gun to kill him in rage mode, from Tawp to Shady, whilst Blade here was simply misled. Truth is, you have to kill him with a melee weapon, but, other then that, everything thus said by Shady is correct, to the fullest.
