Sound track is a bit expensive?
And we are not talking about Gold Record material here.. I can wait for a steam sale let alone a price drop if i have to. Don't get me wrong, the music is nice. But fifteen bucks can really buy me a lot things. So, did the original Hotline charge this much for it's sound track at launch too? I'm just trying to figure out why the special edition doesn't seem complete.. I even feel bad for the people who bought this that don't even own Payday 2..

If they are famus, how come I ask questions? Aparently their fame hasn't reached me.
I just assumed it was just game music.

The reason it's so expensive is because you can rip the songs straight off of the game, and that's what they expect you to do. This time, they were even nice enough to put them in mp3 format in a "soundtrack" folder. They charged $10 for the Hotline Miami track too.

49 tracks in mp3 and FLAC format going to over a dozen different artists. It seems pretty fair to me. Ever bought a game soundtrack before of this size?

How? Because, I'd totally put in the hard work right now as I SHOULD have a key coming in the mail eventually for the soundtrack but I'm too impatient to wait.

If you go into your Hotline Miami 2 directory (i believe its Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Hotline Miami 2 , you should find all of the music tracks in a folder.

I've brought the sound tracks from Aubrey Hodges works when it came to Doom, Final Doom (Playstation) and Doom 64 from amazon for the same price. It was one guy. I'm also a bit spoiled by Gog as they do seem to provide sound tracks of most of the games they sell for free. But I suppose Steam has different rules and the authors just want to make a bit of money. I don't steal these things, I guess I'm just short on the cash at the moment.

Only if you brought the sound track from steam. I only have the special edition unfortunantly.

Actually, that was a database error. People say that if you redownload it, you won't get those files again.

Same. Like I said before, it wasn't supposed to happen.

Edit: I actually have 49 files + the remix ones.
