Soundtrack?

I would like to buy the soundtrack, but when it´s in the shop cart is there the hint that i own the Soundtrack , but i didnt pay for it!

Or is the soundtrack for free for preorder?

My download size is 646 mb!

Look to see if there is a soundtrack folder with all 49 tracks in under the directory:
Program Files > Steam > SteamApps > common > Hotline Miami 2 > Soundtrack

I too didn't pay for the soundtrack but each song is there and quite playable. Not sure if this is a bonus for owning HM1, or if there was an error in distribution of the soundtrack. Considering the soundtrack is posted for the same price as the game, it's a fairly large error.

Thanks for your answer, but it was a steam bug. The soundtrack is now as dlc avibel.

The Download size for the soundtrack is 2 GB (MP3 + FLAC)!

I got the digital edition which was 2.9GB, I think anyone who bought this version also got the soundtrack for free which was not intended :O

Yeah, not too sure what went on here - I also got the Soundtrack when the game initially installed. Yes, the whole shebang: 49 FLACs, 49 MP3s, and the 6-each FLAC and MP3 Remix EP. Far as I know, I did not preorder the Soundtrack - not that I'm complaining, of course.

Only found out by trying to buy the Soundtrack anyway, like the OP, then I double checked the Local Files and there it was.

Is the soundtrack available/going to be made available elsewhere? I don't have a speedy internet connection so I prefer my music in MP3 format and would rather not be forced to download a huge collection of FLAC files...

Its avaible! The soundtrack has 49 mp3 files (500mb) and 49 flac files (1,5mb) ,all in one package.

Yeah strangely enough the soundtrack came with either the pre-order or the pre-order deluxe edition. I have the remix as well as the soundtrack even though the store page says it is not included. I hate to steal from Dennaton Games even if this was a mistake, so if they somehow fix this I would gladly buy the soundtrack.

Signing my name under the 'got the soundtrack for no reason' list. I sure as hell don't know how my 900mb download last night got me 2.2GB worth of music, must have just been compressed. I too am thinking it must have been an error, but not one I don't appreciate.

EDIT: Eh, nevermind. The files are huge, but they aren't playable (i.e. are broken). Oh well, at least the Remix EP ones play fine.

Yeah, something's up... I got the Deluxe, so I should have the soundtrack, and while I have the files, they're all broken, and it doesn't indicate that I own the Soundtrack on the store page.

Unfortunately, the Deluxe edition only comes with the Remix EP tracks, and not the full 49 tracks. Those have to be purchased separately. :(

We just have the broken files in the directories for some reason.
