I have not played this game, but played first original series. And game not bad. But for slasher.
First of all it's game and story is fictional.
How do you feel about the criminals of your nationality? (same thinks Russians)
This game does not affect the feelings of Russian, unlike Company Of Heroes 2 (it's a long story)

And yes, we don't like when russians in games always bad. It's not true.
But we continue to play, we prefer to think that the mobs is not russians.

In first series the story was dumb and stupid.
What I like about the first game is the сhallenge and the soundtrack.
But i don't like unnecessary cruelty and brutality.

Such games likes teens and kids mostly. Usually they playing a lot, and it's sad maybe.
And probably theirs screenshots you seen.
Many others thinks this game is epileptic horror for their eyes.

Wise story was in deus ex for example, but not in this game for sure.

I am personally and I really liked it, just like many others, the only ones who can be butthurt are another bunch of kids and/or dumb ultra-nationalistic pseudo-patriotic morons.

Although I'm not a russian i agree 100% what you said. Music is awesome. Gorey gameplay isn't really my thing but i can tolerate it, and as for deus ex being a great game: you're damn right it is, its freaking awesome.

I just think it would be interesting if there was a game where you were russian and killed Americans. There would probley be an outcry.

No, he didn't, he just expresses his own opinion, while speaking for everyone/majority in some places, not to mention that some things he says are dumb and he just mixes his own opinion with facts and being disrespectful jerk himself.

Another thing. He says that people who play this stuff are mostly teens and kids and thus they (such games etc) are made specifically for them, which is again untrue. Surely nova days there is a lot of dumb teens and children in gaming (like CoD for example) and just idiots who flood various fanbases and places (HM unfortunately aint exception), but it doesnt mean that these games are made for them as target audience and that its only them who enjoy such games, not to mention the age restriction (though yeah, I know, that it doesnt really help these days).

It does sound like he is trying to belittle the game and those who like it, by saying that only teens (pretty sure he meant immature) and kids like it, while those who (in his opinion) are apparently better and smarter doesnt like any HM game, because it is "an epileptic horror for eyes". If he meant that, it does sound like some kind of insult. Plus if you will take a look, there is a very huge number of people around the world who like it and they don't seem to be stupid and/or immature teens/kids.

Sure both games have their own pros and cons (though not gonna lie, IMHO second part felt weaker comparing to first one), I am not saying its bad to dislike them - different strokes for different folks, but speak for yourself and not for majority or especially everyone, and dont act like if somebody likes something you dont like it, then it means that he/she has lower standards than you (if he meant that though). Also, I don't get what the heck does he mean about that screenshots thing, or well... I probably do if what I think is right, but I am not sure what it has to do with the topic.

Plus, he misses the point of the violence and brutality shown in the game, well, we will get to it later. Though IMHO he does have a point here, but anyway.

Also, not to mention that not all enemies (especially in HM2) are Russians. In first one there is a level where you kill ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of American cops, jeeze you can even slaughter janitors who are related to 50 Blessings, and even Phone Hom employees and Manager (unlike employees and janitors he aint optional though and needs to be killed).

And in second one, you can even play as Russians yourself. Like there is a level for Henchman where he kills American gangsters (hoodlums), a levels for Son, where he all he does are murdering Colombian Cartel and in one level you even have to rob an American bank while killing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of guards in the process (and Colombians too). Not to mention that in a lot of the levels even as other (non-Russian) characters you need to kill hoodlums who are of course American, kill American cops and in one level - even prison guards and prisoners who are of course Americans too. Heck, you even kill Fans while playing as a Son.

Plus note a fact that HM protagonists you play aint rainbows and susnhine themseves. Maybe Beard and in a way Evan (depends in his case though) can be exceptions, but still.

I even doubt he played the game and that you played any HM games (especially if talking about second part, since you're Australian if your profile doesnt lie) or at least tried to analize things properly. You probably just have heard/read somewhere that it's a game about killing Russians and made that topic, without even trying to know more about the games or play them yourself.

Not to mention, that you both appear to miss a point HM series are trying to show. There is absolutely NO good guys, no matter who is it, Americans, Russians, somebody else, doesnt matter. It tries to show you that unnecessary brutality and violence will bring only more unnecessary brutality and violence, this is the thing that HM series are trying to show (mostly the second part), though it still remains as key element of the games.

I personally gotta agree with him about the story in a way though, it is indeed such a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that it's hard to call it wise or something (at least in MY opinion) and see some points and things through or in it. (But srsly, how can you compare Deus Ex to HM <___>?)

I asked what russians thought of the game and story and he said. I don't agree with what he said about the stoey being dumb, but that's his opinion. Also he never said it's for kids, he just said most gore game like this are for the edgelord 12vie audiance (think of the game hatred).
As for the mob boss' son killing cops ect; that isnt the main bit of the game .
I still maintain that if you had another country make a game about there nationality being opressed by america and has them rising up against them in the fashion that hm does, you would get tears.

How GTA series make fun of America and it's society. What huge trashy mockery (of America and Americans of course) second Postal are. Movies like Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon and many others. I don't see Americans crying like babies over it. Actually, there is plenty of media that doesnt portray USA well. Also, if you didnt know, HM series are made by Swedish guys, not Americans. Btw, don't you think that with you're kinda... exaggerating? Oh and trust me, a lot and A LOT of people in our country, especially on Internet are no less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, disgusting and/or ultra-patriotic than many Americans.
