Download size of hotline miami 2 ?

I've limited Internet atm and using my phones via Hotspot. Would be thankful if some could tell me the download size of HM2 (digital special edt.) The size after you hit the install button. Is the digital special edt. much bigger than the standart edt ? THX in advance

sure you can upgrade with the Digital Special Edition Upgrade later

For the initial download on Steam I think yes you are forced to download both, you can uncheck in Steam the DLC afterwards but you will still have to download the game

Method 1

What you need to play with is an advanced Valve tool called SteamCMD, it Steam on command line and with it you can download only a specific depot but I can't remember the exact commands, I have attempted below to recreate a command sample without much testing, just remember you can get the list here https://github.com/dgibbs64/SteamCMD-Commands-List/blob/master/steamcmdcommands.txt (also always use double quotes as I wrote them around subcommands)

download_depot : download_depot <appid> <depotid> : download a single depot

steamcmd.exe +login username +password password +force_install_dir /dir/ "+download_depot 274170 <depotid>" validate +quit

where <depotid> is the depot id of HM2 without steam specials (274172 Hotline Miami 2 Windows)

steamcmd.exe +login username +password password +force_install_dir /dir/ "+download_depot 274170 274172" validate +quit

A bit complicated but thats the only way I know to have more control on what is downloading Steam

Run Steam with Steam.exe -dev and in the CONSOLE tab I think you can execute commands like +download_depot 274170 274172 directly
