How to install mods?

Plz give me a step by step guide.

-Download the .patchwad file (the mod)
-Go in My Documents/My Games/HotlineMiami2/mods
-Put the .patchwad file here.

Ok so messed up bigtime. I wish I read up on how to do this earlier because it's so easy. Anyways, I accidently converted the patchwad into notepad. I've tried deleting and redownloading but it just downloads as the notepad.. Is there a way I can turn it back into a patchwad file??

Was simple to fix. Can't recall off the top of my head how I did, but I won't be making that mistake again.

where do i find the .patchwad file, ive tried downloading a campaign off the workshop but i cant find the file anywhere
