Nuclear Waste?
I remember getting hte achievement last year on my hardmode playthrough then getting stuck and eventually forgetting about it when I got a new game. The description of the achievment is "They will not reach the nuclear throne" so does anything different happen at the end?

No you just got it for shooting down all the cardboard cut outs of the NT cast.
