Is there a way to stop the nukes...?

I'm playing the GOG version of Hotline Miami 2, and I have beat it once already. I was told by a friend to play as Jake in Withdraw, and survive the 3rd floor, and take the disk before the 50 Blessings manager kills Jake, then as Evan Wright, take the floppy disk in the evidence locker. But, from what I can tell, the nukes are inevitable.

No, that method gives you the level "Abyss" it doesin't stop the nukes.

Ah well... that kinda sucks. Still impressed that I survived the 3rd floor, must be playing too much lol. And the Abyss level.... I think those 3 hobos are actually the original Richard, Rasmus, and Don Juan.
