Ranking of ALL Hotline Miami 2 levels (SPOILERS)
I'll probably make a list for the first game aswell.

The reason I'm making this is because Hotline Miami 2 is my favourite game of all time (Number 2 is Detroit).
Anyway, let's start.
From worst to best! (Take a shot every time I say something positive.)

(AGAIN,SPOILER WARNING)

27.Stronghold. This is the only level I don't get. Why exactly is this level in the game? It really just feels like an pointless mission that is just plain boring.

26.Midnight Animal. It's just a tutorial, but it's an unforgettable one with an great first character.

25.Hard News. A good level with a good character and an interesting ending.

24.Down Under. It's really good for a level exactly after an tutorial.

23.Ambush. It's nice to finally find out that many playable characters were in the war. The level itself is simply fun. I think we all thought that Daniels is Jake simply because he's fat and has almost the same hair.

22.Demolition. I know alot of people don't like this level because of the whole level being dark but I think that the darkness makes the level better, together with the kickass song. Oh, and the first floor is fun because you're always ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

21.Into the Pit. I wonder how many people use the glitch for this nowadays. But anyway, It's another good level which is up here because of the atmosphere. Never thought something scary would happen in a game where you kill russians with an unicorn mask.

20.Moving Up. Good level but ♥♥♥♥ that Girl with her golden gun.

19.House Call. Simply a fun level with not much story behind it.

18.Withdrawal. This level is amazing because of Jake's ending. Even though we all knew that he was gonna die, I don't think that anybody expected it.

17.First Trial. A character who is an "pacifist" is something new and fun to the series.

16.The Abyss. I wonder how many people knew that this level even existed. But I do wonder what richard meant. Did Evan finding the floppy disk break his rules and become a 4th wall? I don't know.

15.Homicide. Here we go, one of my most despised characters in all of gaming, ladies and gentlemen I present to you, Manny Pardo! A cop who kills innocent people for fame and even kills Tony. I was very happy to see him die. But anyway, his level itself together with the song is fantastic. Especially if you do it all just with fists.

14.Subway. Playing this after Deathwish while hearing the song gives an excellent feeling. It also get some plus points for the fact that you can meet Biker...and everyone else.

13.Final Cut. I really love this level together with this character and his ending. I wouldn't be suprised if Pardo put the ammo in the gun, which I believed he did. That would also explain the whole thing with Pardo how he sees many things like a movie.

12.First Blood. I was very excited to play Richter and it did not disappoint. It also has one of my favourite combos in the game simply because it's so fun to pull it off

11.No Mercy. "Oh man, The Henchman is an fantastic character! Can't wait to play him!"

10.Execution. "Nevermind."

9.Seizure. I love this level! It has my favourite song and my favourite Hotline Miami character! But it isn't higher because of dogs tearing me apart.

8.Dead Ahead. I always love going full John Wick in this level. And once you play hard mode the enemies go John Wick on you.

7.Take Over. A good last challenge before the final level with an great ending.

6.Caught. Seeing Pardo's breakdown was really entertaining.

5.Casualties. Easily one of the best moments in the series because of Beard giving Jacket the picture. I wish we would now how The Colonel's story went after the series.

4.Release. It was certainly one intense floor after another. It felt so satisfying to get out of the building.

3.Blood Money. Yet again another very intense level. I just love to rob a bank in a game like Hotline Miami.

2.Death Wish. the roof is one of the most emotional moments in the game. I'll never forget the sound of that Gun clicking.

and my favourite level is...

1.Apocalypse. Perfection in a level! seeing The Son kill The Fans and then himself is one big moment. Atleast Pardo finally died. But now, Everyone's gone.

Pardo,Evan,Richter,Beard, and Jacket die through the nukes.

The Henchmen got killed through The Fans.

The Son killed all of The Fans except Tony and then jumped off the roof.

Tony got shot and killed in cold blooded murder through Pardo.

Martin died while shooting the film.

Jake was killed by the mafia.

And Biker fled to the desert.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is my favourite game of all time and I think it's gonna be that for a long time.

Thanks for reading and I would love to hear some feedback! :)

I agree with everything, but don't you dare talk ♥♥♥♥ about the best, most professional, most handsome detective of Miami, Handsome Master Detective Manny Pardo™.
Other than that, your descriptions about the levels are pretty accurate. Especially No Mercy and Execution. Henchman was such a nice guy. He's probably the only character that should have lived. Besides Biker of course.

Personally my favorite level is Dead Ahead. I used to think it was really annoying, but it's so much fun looking back on it. Plus the water blackground only got used it this level for some reason, it looks gorgeous! The music is pretty good, also.

Yeah, it goes from a frustrating level to a fun level with 90x combos

Dead Ahead by far. You can combo through the whole level, the music is great, the level design is great and it differs the boys fron the men. Just see at all the threads of casuals crying lol. It really is the dark souls of hotline miami levels

By the way I like the theory of pardo putting ammo in the gun. It would fit since he hates people who get more recognition than him. Someone should make a fan level out of this

Yeah. I knew that Pardo thought about movie actors and people like jacket because he just wants some fame but it if he would work as an actor at Martin's place then it would explain a lot. For example maybe everything started because not only one actor was more famous than him but that he also was less famous than a killer of russians.

Who knows, maybe Johnson doesn't even exist since Johnson is already at the next victim of Pardo before he gets to him even though he has his next victim in the car.

Also thanks for reading my stuff, I appreciate it.

The Colonel founded the 50 Blessings and probably died during the coup since the nukes drop before he would have time to escape to the 50 Blessings bunker
