like.. you're in a level you get through a hard section of it and follow the arrows to the next section. so it saved..?
or if you exit the game would you have to start the entire level over again.
hotline miami 2 does next to no saving. serialization is the most difficult problem in game development and the devs of this game took quite the shortcut to skip all that hassle: no saves at all. just a memory of level unlocks.
so "always" isn't just an overstatement..
it's an outright lie! and a rather stupid low iq one at that!
