Hello everyone, and first of all, an early happy Earth Day 2026.

Over the past nearly two years, we have explored many different approaches in order to present this core concept in a way that feels more complete and more enjoyable to play. Our team is very small and not able to reply to every comment. But we have read and considered your criticism and suggestions, and some of them are already reflected in the new version. Compared with earlier builds, the current V0.4.1 Beta has changed dramatically. We warmly invite you to download the demo again and give it another try.

V0.4.1 Beta Update Overview

- Updated the overall style and tone, while restructuring and refining the in-game worldbuilding.

- Reworked the core gameplay. The new version now progresses in a semi-turn-based structure and no longer includes time limits.

- Added Events as a major new category alongside Policies.

- Established a clearer mission structure.

- Revised the in-game text and overall writing style.

Current Version Notes

The game is still being actively tested, expanded, and updated. The current version does not yet include audio content, which will be added gradually in future updates.

About the Title

For various reasons, the game will be renamed from Fertility, Crime, and Economy to Sunset Magna Carta. Related content will be updated gradually over the course of development.

This game definitely needs some refining

The game gives zero idea what the effects of each policy could be not even a very general one, no time to pause and read the info of whats happening with the residents so just speeding through it. The idea of the game seems possibly fun but as it is the game is way too chaotic and light on info regarding what the heck is acutally happening....

Version 0.2.2 Patch Notes and V0.3 Important Update Preview

Version 0.2.2 Game Content Updates:

- Balanced the data affected by policies.
- Fixed an issue where policies would not load correctly under specific conditions.

Since the release of Versions 0.1 to 0.2, we've gathered valuable feedback through interviews, comments, and observing playthroughs on platforms like YouTube and Bilibili. Based on these, we’ve made significant changes to the game. The core elements of these changes will be introduced in Version 0.3. We sincerely thank all the governors for your continued support!

Preview of Version 0.3 Updates:

- The new version will feature the map as the primary interface.
- Civil prestige, technology, and development paths will be introduced.
- The gameplay will be enhanced, allowing players to take more diverse actions, such as controlling the spread of news or building public facilities.
- The economic mechanics will be enriched, with a notable distinction between the government and personal financial accounts, giving players more freedom in financial decisions.
- A new "Fieldwork Research" feature will be added, enabling players to interact with NPCs, trade, give or receive items.
- Character stories will progress more reasonably and organically.
- A new batch of content will be introduced, including but not limited to new characters, news, and policies.
- The "Reject Policy" action will come with more feedback in the game.
- The game’s storyline will undergo significant enhancements.

Other Planned Updates (release version to be decided):

- The version for Mac users.
- Resolution support, including widescreen and windowed mode.

Gameplay Updates:
- New Policies: More policies have been added for players to choose from. Policies within levels will now be randomly selected instead of being fixed combinations.
- New Resident: "Oscar Seaford" has been introduced.
- New Storylines: Added new storylines for residents.
- New News Events: Included more news events.
- Bug Fixes: Fixed issues where some stories were not triggering correctly.

User Interface Updates:
- Text Content: Polished the text content for policies, news, and residents' storylines.
- Language Fix: Resolved an issue in the Chinese version where news publishers in the archive were displayed only in English.
- Font Adjustment: Adjusted the text font in the archive.
- Social Media Links: Added social media link buttons for our studio in the start menu.
- Loading Animation: Added a loading animation when loading levels.
- Text Modifications: Modified some textual information content.

Planned Minor Updates:
- macOS Version: Currently being notarized and may be released soon.
- Storyline Optimization: Planning to optimize the internal logic of character storylines to make them more organic and varied.
