How do I make natives works?

I already max a native, give him the job of mining, build a mine in my hideout but it just stays standing still o_o

Select/talk to the friend/follower, Move -> Territory: Slide the Territory bar to have the work stations in the blue circle.

Should probably include food and water in the circle too, as well as a bed.

The Well will generate water on it's own over time and they will help themselves.
The Rain Collector will fill to full if it rains.(This was bugged for me and I don't trust it but should function the same as the well)

you can also use a water skin manually, like most items just right click it while their inventory is open.
Water skins can be filled by being near a water source or while it is raining by right clicking it. I don't recommend this though as it's tedium.

I actually haven't tested if leaving the item in their inventory will cause them to use it when they need it, so you could attempt that too.
