Final Stretch! Early Access Launch Preview

Hi there,

It’s been a while since we last popped in—we’ve been crunching hard on the Early Access version, to the point our fingers might even permanently cramp.

But here is the good news: The EA version of Netherworld Covenant is now over 85% complete as of this week! The remaining 15% is sprinting toward the finish line.

If everything is fine, we’ll drop a major announcement in mid-to-late May—think of it as the final stretch before launch!

We also bring a new scene for sharing this time, this is more like a qualification challenge to hold the Nether Lantern at the very beginning.

Your former comrade-in-arms greets you with a devastating two-hit combo.

But fear not: You’ve unlocked new Soul skills to turn the tide!

One more thing, Netherworld Covenant had been selected for the Eastern Game Fest! A huge shoutout to the organizers for their support.

[help] Tips on "powerful" Blood Fiend, exploding minions enemy?

I've tried many different spirit combinations but have not been able to finish off the hellish Necromancer type "powerful" enemy Blood Fiend that summons an army of corpses that explode before you can ever finish them off. I think once or twice I got its HP meter down to maybe 30-35%, but I was always down to about 2% on my own HP meter, and there's no way to heal afik once potions are out. Does anyone have any tips? or is it just a demo design for it be impossible? I've loved all the battles up to that...

Thank you to all players for your support of Netherworld Covenant!!!

During the Steam Next Fest from February 24th to March 3rd, tens of thousands of players experienced our demo, propelling the game into the Top 10 of the Trending Action Games category!

In our new video, we have shared some new progress about the game. With Early Access approaching, we hope we can deliver the version that meets everyone’s expectations.

Answers to Player Concerns

Brightness: Will be continuously optimized and adjusted in future versions.
Soundtrack: Will be gradually updated and expanded to deliver better audiovisual effects in the EA version.
Balance & Resource Distribution: The demo’s difficulty and economy were intentionally harsh, but the full version will adopt a smoother and more comfortable progression pace.
PVP Mode: This is currently not planned, as our priority remains refining the single-player experience first.

[Gameplay Bug] Enemies TAKE NO DAMAGE

I occasionally run into this strange "enemies take no damage" bug from time to time. My character takes no damage either, except it seems like from AOE attacks if an enemy has one. There's no workaround afik, so just have to Exit the game. [Ghost Skill BUG?] Bow Shooting hits NOTHING that moves, most of the time

(said to be optimized in latest build) Maybe devs can double check if the Ghost Skill "Bow Shooting" is working correctly. I posted this on DIscord, just a quick post here in case it's helpful. In my experience, most of the time, the multiple arrows that the ghost fires hit NOTHING and do not seem to target ANY enemy. They just randomly fly off into thin air and only hit if it's a single, stationary enemy....

[UI suggestion] Add HP% dots under player (beneath energy dots)

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3477915100 So I like having the tiny dots below the player character model to show us the weapon Charger Meter levels (think that's what it is?) at a glance w/o needing to glance down to the lower left corner energy meter. Why not add 4 bubbles below it to indicate our basic health meter percentages? Like in most isometric games I play, my eyes are always at the center of the screen and I just don't have time in the chaos to keep averting my ...
