Evolve Offline Multiplayer
Is it possible to play Evolve Offline with other people via LAN? (When everyone owns his own legal copy of the game)

You can play on LAN, but not without internet. First you need to connect via Steam, and then do a private custom match where the lobby leader can select to host the game being the server himself. If some or all of you are connected through LAN, the connection will go directly between you.

The same can be done on L4D.

Well that is a good half way gronud. I just set up a network where all my brothers can play on the same connection. So we finnally can efficiently play locally together. Before some of my brothers were using wifi and couldn't see some locally hosted games.

I will probably buy 3 copies of this game durring a sale.
