Forum Etiquette

Many people come to browse the forums, post about their joy of the games, or concerns. Some ask for advice or help, or to team up. The forum can be a wonderful place. But every now and then there are users who vent in inappropriate ways. Now we all want a friendly place to be able to speak our minds, and even in anger you should be able to feel free enough to express yourself here, but within reason. Insulting another person's culture, race, age, intelligence, gender...such things have NO PLACE here. Phrases like "Get Good" are not helpful and only cause rage. Telling someone they are a newb when they ask for simple advice...that's not cool and you know it. And telling someone to "go kill themselves" or that you hope one of their family member's dies etc. will absolutely not be tolerated under any circumstance. If I see any posts of that sort you will get a 3 day ban without question. If you persist the penalty will be longer.

We want this to be a civil place of discussion, pro and con, about Evolve. Also, racism will not be tolerated, nor will insulting the gender or religion of someone gaming. This should go without saying but I want to make it quite clear that this is not the place for such things.

I also understand the anger with hackers but please follow the protocols for reporting that...and it is not by naming them or showing the profile of the suspected cheater/hacker on the open forum. Please file a ticket with 2K to be heard.

I want this place to be a friendly sounding board, so please be considerate of who is reading your posts and what you want to convey. These are real people reading your words and responding so lets try to understand where they are comign from too and lets keep it civil. Everyone can hear you better when you are. :)
