My alpha experience of the game.

I recommend this game because of the gameplay i experienced during the big alpha, it was really fun playing as both the hunter and the monste, but i do have some complaints that i feel that needs to be taken care of, to make the game way more enjoyable than it already were.

Either lower the price or do something that makes it worth the 50 €. Either by adding a story mode to the game, or lots of game modes/characters to choose from.

Allow groups of players to play as the monster. The fact that you're not allowed to play as the monster, when playing with friends feels like, in my experience, a huge problem, which ruins the fun experience of you being able to pound your friends, while you laugh into their faces. I do also believe that this game would be a great game for LAN parties, if you actually were allowed make a group of 5 people.

IF you're going to develop more hunters, create some more clarity. I as a complete noob at the game found it super difficult to see the difference between the hunters, which caused me to, as the monster, losing a lot of fight because of the lack of clarity. That of course didn't happen that often since after i learned how the various hunters looked like. But it surely made me question if i even wanted to buy the game, because I couldn't see the difference between the hunters.

Now this is just my opinion, and i hope others feel the same way. I also hope these problems is dealt with, before the release of the game.

They did have a splash screen before the game starts (or was it after you quit) that states "THIS IS AN ALPHA. Content has been removed".

Good review, completely agree, don't forget that they will probably add DLC for $15 a pop, or a dozen of them for $5 a pop. Not worth a $60 price tag. Go spend $40 on Star Citizen, get more bang for your buck.

I lliked the game but too much running around, makes me completelty ignore the diverse alien fauna, there should be more objectives to force you to not just wander mouse and cat

I'm not a huge fan of DLC but I think if its seperate in packs it would actually work for this game. Because this game is the way it is, people might not want to pay $15 for monsters and hunters. Maybe they want to pay $4-5 for a monster(s) and a specific class of hunter. I think thats the way they should do it.

I want to be the monster or I want to be support. I have no need for new trappers, medics and assaults.

They had a interview with escapsit magazine and already said the DLC is going to be community driven. Both what is in the pack and how much it will cost. They did say that it is not going to be free however, as they are a business and have to make a profit.
