Does Griffin's harpoon gun do anything at all?

I haven't unlocked him yet, so I haven't watched his video. I just took over for a bot half way into a match.

I kept shooting the monster with the harpoon gun...but it didnt even seem to slow it down. was i using it wrong?

Yeah, you can hook invis wraith and force him out of stealth.
You can hook the kraken so he cant move while hes casting his AOE spell.
You can hook the Goliat while hes jumping, forcing him to drop like a ROCK to the ground.

How long does it hold the monster ? It feels like it brokes instantly, even if he don't hit it.

monster just has to LMB as well to get free very short reload thou and can slow em down till you have grav nades

As the advanced video says: Hold LMB to keep the hook in the monster till monster does a melee to escape it. Sorry, dont hold it THAT long, cancel it (release LMB) when you see monster is meleeing, saves you half a second for reload.

Griffins a beast, took on sandwhales when he was 15 without a jetpack!

Press and hold LMB. Best when the monster is trying to leap to keep it from making distance.
