I haven't finished preloading so I can't say with absolute certainty yet but in your Steam/steamapps/depotcache folder should be the files.
I think the game's id is 273351 so copy those files with 273351 in them over and check your Steam/steamapps to see if there is an appmanifest_273351.acf and copy that over too.

it SHOULD work but do what razerdeth said but do this before that

start the preload on your other pc so you can make sure the preload is going, stop the download, log out of that steam application on your other pc and then move and replace those files in the location it is downloading too (where razerdeth said) and it should then automaticly finish instantly when you start steam up

Download it then navigate to your common folder and copy it to your other device then log in then right click on evovle and go to propertys then validate the files, did this for a friend with the beta. he downs loads @ 1.5 Mbps max on steam while i can do a constant 10. so instead of waiting a day and half to play, i put it on a thumbstick and he came over and got it. Its quite simple as long as you have usb 3.0, i fear for anyone transfering on lower USB speeds.

This will work. I use steam on PC and Laptop and always copy the downloaded games from one to the other. As it's already said, download it, navigate to (yourinstallationpath)/steam/steamapps. Games will be in the folder common, pre-loads in depotcache. Simply copy the files in the exact same spot on your other PC and start steam. Then open steam and start the pre-load. It will now check the existing files if anything misses (what takes a while but he doesn't download anything new) and completes the installation afterwards.

Completely possible to transfer it over a home network or by other means, you can also verify the preload data if you want to be certain it's correct.
