Evolve Stage 2

Reboot the Game!
We need to figure some kind of way to make it happen. This game was before it's time. It needs to come back.

2K will never allow this to happen.

That's an assumption. If there was a Petition submitted to them, maybe they would rethink it.
There isn't really a good reason for them to just abandon the idea. The Second Game tripped, but it's been years since then game was launched, they could come back and redesign it.

you see, there already was a petition made, and it cleared into the thousands if I recall, but it didn't matter :/

Ah that's unfortunate. Well At least there is the SP mode for what it's worth.

As much as I love Evolve, I don't have any hope of a reboot. A new game set in the same universe however would be totally dope. The Evolve universe is so rich of potential story ideas, designs and characters. I however would not like a Titanfall 2 and Apex legends situation where the 'newcomer' completely overthrows it's in Titanfalls case, better, predecessor.

4 v 1 with the learning curve required to be even half good was its downfall i absolutley loved it

+1 for reboot

but just look at what 2K is doing lately... they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ us over with season pass 2 remember? and guess what, they pulled the same ♥♥♥♥ with borderlands 3. i just wait for them to pull the same :slugpoo: with tiny tina... nah, 2K is another publisher that can keep their games until they´re super discounted. they never get my money as pre-order or on release again. nope, thanks. i rather support a handful of indie devs and publishers.

Fair enough, would be nice if someone else bought the title.

I can confirm they won't reboot it. I made a genuine offer to pay 6 figures for the game to be put back on the store for free with a "unsupported, you guys wanted this, beware" notice, an alteration to allow people to point at arbitrary addresses for a meta server, and their server released as a dedicated server option on Steam. Their lawyer I spoke to rejected me outright. They're going to sit on it for 50 years until the IP goes public domain.

Any reason? Or just a Turned down offer? It honestly doesn't make any sense to just let a game die if someone is willing to make offers on it.

Especially when you've abandoned it... They aren't making any money from it, so might as well give it off to a new company.

might also be a split license between turtle rock and 2k.

Maybe. Then that just means talking to both of them.
