Best Medic?

So who's considered the best medic right now? I've done horrible with the free one but decent with all other classes.

I've really been enjoying EMET. Get cool down perks, spam heal boost on your healing beacons. Also have 30 second revive beacon.

Been playing mostly medic, I've been most successful with Val so far.
I've seen a lot of people and tier lists saying Caira was the best, I'm still not sure why though.

Rogue Val is good pick against experienced Monsters.
Laz' needs a real good team to be useful, Veterans know how he works and will bait him to revive someone and kill him.
Emet can be really annoying, I played a game where everyone had 2 strikes, I stand outside the fighting area and spammed Beacon and heals... Infinite Hunter spawns :D

that depends a LOT

with a good or ok team, lazarus beats everyone - he can't heal for ships, but he got 2 moments that he can do fast ressurections, and if he manages to recover a down but not dead guy, the guy doesn't even take white health negative stack. So, lazarus = sneaky ressurection master.

Emet is overall a hard to use healer, since he only has healing beacons (AoE heal over time) and the healing burst (extra bursts for the beacons too) so hes kinda of a hard to use mid fight healer since the beacons can be destroyed, but he got quick respawn - and that is a skill that can save the game - just press 3 and you can bring dead people back.

Rogue val is, on the other hand, the best combat healer in the game. She got a heal over time aura while her burst is off cooldown, meaning she can chain that with her healing chain gun and heal a lot of hp for a lot of allies, even mid battle. Plus she can use her burst to heal to full HP if she needs a heal herself (her burst is only for herself, 0 area heal) - she is the best at actually healing.

Those 3 are the best medics for me.

normal val best use is the tranq gun (slows the monster); caira is all about up time - she can speed people up and her weapon got a DoT, so she can hit once, use heals, hit again and keep the damage up; slim is kind of a combat oriented character that can do healz his burst is a lot bigger and his main weapon attack can recover part of the burst charge, 4 hits and the burst is off cooldown, so he heals by shooting the enemy (and he got a slow HoT on the bug)

Best medic, for me, is lazarus.

I have to agree on Rogue Val, she's the best combat medic. But Lazarus really can't do ♥♥♥♥ without a real team or against an experienced Monster. He's really predictable. But his healing field is not to be underrated, 500 hp is a lot, especially if you take Cooldown Perks.

(Note to newcomers, when a Laz is cloaked, do not shield or buff him, that'll just waste his cloak.)
