Perks: i go bronze hp regen for just a bit of tankiness, silver acidic rounds for a bit more damage on the autocannon then rocket king for moving aound fast which is what you need to do as lenny.
Basic information: lennox is all about getting up close and personal. she is the only hunter in the game to recieve a special unmarked buff. she takes reduced knock back from monster attacks. that way she can keep the plasma lance chain going for ages.
Plasma lance: you should always be using this in the mobile arena or for killing wildlife. the damage can reach 300 damage per strike at the max damage multiplier. because you can't headshot with it (or the autocannon for that matter) you should aim for the back.
if you monster isn't focusing you or not hiting you every know and then, then its a bad monster. if the monster is focusing someone else it is your duty to get its attention. spam plasma lance on its back and watch the health disapear.
note that taking DOT damage such as fire breath, acid breath, death spiral will not reset the multiplier of the lance.
Autocannon: if the monster is far away this is your go to. with consistent spread and reliable damage use this if you can't get to him with the plasma lance. and that should be a rare occasion.
its a good harrasing tool overall for getting attention from a far away monster or dealing with wildlife you'd rather not fight.
the only reason you should ever be using this as your main would be if you're fighting a kraken. kraken counters lennox because she can't get to him without using fuel. so if you're ever playing monster and the assault picks lennox, you know who to go to.
Thunder strike: this mini leap smash does double the damage of a fully multiplied plasma lance. an amazing traversal tool as it is a powerful damage dealer.
but heres a tip. never use it if you have any charges of multiplier. if you have all four multipliers going don't get rip fo them by thunder striking. you can do a thunder strike damage in two hits, and you should only thunder strike if the monster damages you.
a stratagy i love using is if a monster knocks me back with, vortex, web shoot, rock throw etc while i'm in mid air i thunder strike at their face. this unexpecting move throws off their aim and keeps the flow of damage going in.
Defense matrix: this ones easy just pop it when ever your close to the monster which should be always.
so these have been my lennox tips. sorry if its a bit long. i've spaced it out a bit to help you. i hope they have helped you be a better player. and i would love to see you in my lobby one day playing as lennox and having elited her.
Im not the Creator of this Discussion, but thanks for the Tips anyway, i just bought Lennox in game, after a hard decision between her, Sunny and Kala. I am already falling in love with Lennox as she is so much fun to play. Even against Krakens. i have a awesome time as her.
If the Monster is either of those, prepare to pull your hair out. Lennox is plain useless against distant or mobile Monsters.
Or take jetpack perks, and just hover over it's head while spamming lance. Also good for Wraith.
First things first, optimism
I see most lennoxes failing to meet their damage potential because they simply can't keep up and simply end up using their autocannon WAY too much because they're too far away to do what they're supposed to be doing with the plasma lance. To rectify this I would recommend running t1 speed and t2 and t3 jetpack recharge (maybe t1 and t2 speed and just t3 jetpack recharge. depends).
the extra damage from poison rounds or the damage from damage perks is fun and all, but if it means you're stuck autocannoning or just not hitting it at all because you can't reach, you've already failed.
