Rofl No. His sound spikes are garbage in comparison to regular Griffin, his gun slows which is nice, but its extremely inaccurate, and his harpoon is just meh.

Well because of the new Trapper Ability the sound spikes dont matter that much anyway. The Old Griffin is better at chasing since hes got the range but in Combat the the new Griff dominates because while spamming your harpoon (which you usually do as either Griff) you also get alot of Damage on the Monster while keeping it at bay. Since the new Evolve has combat alot more happening Id agree that the new Griff is better than the other.

Ok, the trappers job is to find the monster. What good is Elec Griffin's damage if he can't do his role of finding the mosnter? People who are saying "oh teh damage" are looking at the trapper role the competely WRONG way.

The combination of constant DPS and slow seems a little overkill, but at this point it's not certain how good or bad he is.
