Evolve Stage 2

Evolve Stage 2

I'll actually, genuinely pay someone $250 to mod in Legacy to S2
Some requirements for this reward would be:
1. Add menu options for "Legacy" game rules.
2. Add options for character/perk restrictions in a custom match.
3. Add the option for "Campaign" matches in custom matches (from Legacy).
4. Add ability to customize role attributes- specifically, the Trapper role's ability to use Planet Scanner. Example: Can only use PS once per Dome; Only Trapper can see PS, etc. (other ideas welcome within this thread)

Just to state the obvious, I will not be taking a cent from this. I just know the devs are never going to do the right thing, and only my (and our community) action will keep this game relevant and alive.

If I see a real taker for this, and they accomplish even one of these goals, I'll start organizing to make the funds partially available to the first person, and also find a way for the community to throw something your way as well. My name is Chad Randell, I actually ran two Kickstarters for a game I invented called Thrones years ago. I'm a real person, not looking to scam or whatever, just a fan of this game.

Let me know what you think.

Big work, small price. Add a few zeros onto that and somebody might actually do it.

You're joking, right? This is a mod with all the features already existing. You don't even need the source code, you just need to splice the work someone else did. I don't know much about programming, but sure it isn't a ton of work to set up lobby restrictions, and set a few parameters for gameplay features.
lol sure man 250 dollars to somehow mod an already heavily encrypted game that uses an unfriendly engine. there's a reason why you haven't seen any mods for this game period

"I don't know much about programming"

Well, there you have it. Your assumptions are wrong.

Since when is CryEngine/Evolve encrypted?

Prove it.
Are these features not already in existence? Are these not the same games, with minor gameplay changes between them? At what point did my assumption go wrong?

Make that like.....$2,500,000 and paid to 2K games and they might do it.

Outside of that though, not happening. Full stop.

That might be a bit more than a simple UI mod like your thinking. They changed the graphics between Legacy, and Stage 2. Stage 2's is brighter, and i'm pretty sure less detailed since they were probably trying to target weaker PC's. To really integrate both Legacy/Stage 2 into one product would probably be a fair bit of work especially without source code. It's something that would be cool to see if they were to revive this game, and put it back on stores. But unless that happens I doubt it will ever be done.

Look up any thread on extracting the files and it requires an AES key.

If the game wasn't encrypted and people actually had access to the source code. Then there would be mods and complete game play overhauls in abundance.
