Evolve at its core, was too frustrating for most. It WAS an amazing game- But it required a lot of practice and understanding to enjoy. You had to be fairly decent to enjoy this game properly- and in order to do that you had to WANT to do that. It was terrible otherwise- which is what most were left with. a terrible experience.
If they bothered to do their homework correctly instead of focusing on DLC shenanigans then maybe this game could have lived to see another year but they didn't and Evolve paid the price massively.
Big L to 2k / Take two , and Huge L to ''Turtle Studios'' (no one is willin to work with them anymore)
To the Practice. Yes ofc you need to play a bit to understand everything but also alot other games are like it.
Im just saying that its sad. Now these days its kinda normal that Games are dead after 2 years or so.
Well as long we can still play p2p with friends or other ppl. Its not completly earased from the existance.
Thanks for the examples.
...Happy Hunting (as long as we still can :p )
Weird- Cuz someones working with them right now
Evolve. Well, we all know what a mess that is.
These are the 2 games they list on their webpage.
I personally think this game is fun. Turtle rock said that after they pitched the game to the investors they realised its almost impossible to balance the game they were making, but they knew they couldnt go pitch a new idea to the investors. So they were stuck making a game they didnt want to make and 2k pushed all the dlc and paywalls, which inturn ruined the game. Sadly the peple who enjoy this game are screwed.
All in all, TRS is responsible for the playerbase leaving and the game dying out. It's a shame, because it was an amazing concept... but they murdered it. Shameful.
