If Evolve suddenly appeared in your Steam Library

If you had this "issue", it's because Evolve is no longer in the Steam Store. That menas that you'll never be able to get it back. So, if you played Evolve before, Steam registers you and adds Evolve to your library since it's no longer F2P (because it's no longer in Steam)

If you buy a paid game and uninstall it, you'll still have it in your library. Same happened to Evolve. You downloaded it, uninstalled it, and since it's no longer f2p it gets added to your library because you downloaded it once.

Sorry if I couldn't explain it very well, english isn't my first language and the concept is a bit hard to explain.

You are referring to legacy evolve, as if it appeared for those who bought it when the game went to f2p ? I doubt that. I have no memories of such a thing.

I never bought the game though. I installed it once but never played it and uninstalled later, when it was F2P. F2P games go away after uninstalling until then.

Pretty much everything else F2P I downloaded that went away from the Steam store is still gone. Unless if you're saying it's the fact that it was initially paid or something.

There you go, you installed it once, now you've got it in your library. I have no idea how it works but it seems that everybody who now has Evolve, they had it before

I'm the opposite, I bought the game day 1 and season pass and i don't have it in my library.

I am 100% sure if you never bought Legacy and it showed up in your games list, it will not run. Try installing it and you will get a missing EXE error message.
