Hey everyone! It's been yet again months since our last update involving the game.

As mentioned in a previous announcement off-steam, we have been officially working on DECAYED for over a year now! This is one of our first milestones, and we have powered through working very hard for the past year developing the game. At the moment, we are slowing down to take the time to get things needed made and to put more effort and love into the game we are creating. We do not want to put out a super buggy, and unfinished game.
We would like to also establish why we don't frequently post devblogs, or any updates here for that matter. We are wanting to avoid spoiling any neat mechanics or parts of the story. In order to achieve this, we have to be very limited with what we put out into the public eye. Just know, we are still actively working on the game. With that being said, we are prepping for the first video teasers/trailers to come out on steam and YouTube, so stay tuned!


- What is DECAYED?
DECAYED is an open-world survival third/first person apocalypse game that is currently under development.

- How much will DECAYED be?
There is no 100% confirmed price tag yet.

- When is DECAYED releasing?
There is currently no date for the full release of DECAYED. Info regarding this will be updated when the time is right.

- Will there be a beta/early access?
After careful consideration, we are planning to bring DECAYED into a closed playtest when we feel the game is ready. Early access was being considered in earlier stages of development, however it has been ruled out, for now.

- Will there be a campaign/story?
Yes, however our goal is to also keep the gameplay non-linear, promoting the aspect of player freedom and exploration.

- Can I join the team & develop for DECAYED?

- Will DECAYED have multiplayer?
No. This was being debated during earlier prototyping phases of DECAYED, however it has been settled that the game will only be singleplayer.

- What engine is DECAYED using?
DECAYED is currently being developed in Unreal Engine 5.

- Is DECAYED available to purchase and play?
No. We are currently not looking for any testers at the moment either, however we will make announcements regarding changes with this in the future.

- What platforms will DECAYED be available on?
DECAYED will be available for PC on closed beta/full release. Steam Deck is our first console of choice for support, however there is no 100% confirmation if this will be supported or not yet, as we are still working on optimizations. We are not looking at supporting Xbox/PS5 at the moment, nor VR.

- What are the minimum/recommended system requirements?
At the moment, it is too early to say what system specs we'd say are minimum/recommended, as we are still working intensely to optimize the game.

- What game distribution services will DECAYED be available on?
Steam is 100% confirmed, however there is currently no other services that are in plan to release on just yet.
