Black screen on start up??? (SOLVED)

When i launch the game it starts in windowed mode and all i get is a black screen.
WTF?!?

I figured it out, go in to steam settings and disable the overlay.

Important notice: Any overlay software will apparently break this game, including FRAPS.

I'm getting a black screen in Windows 10. Steam overlay is disabled. Windows 10 game bar (game DVR) is turned off. I'm not running FRAPS. Waiting does nothing.

Hey, it seems like this problem is being caused by Nvidia cards and their compatibility with Gunhound.
Could you try going into your Steam Settings and turning your Broadcasting settings to disabled?

Sadly Steam broadcasting was already disabled. Is there anything I can set in Nvidia Geforce Experience or Nvidia Control Panel?

I'm having the same issue fyi, just bought it due to the sale and I'm experiencing the same exact problem...upon startup I get nothing but a black screen. Disabling the Steam overlay doesn't correct anything.

Did you try going into your Steam Settings and turning your Broadcasting settings to disabled?
