Updates:
-Doors, windows and shutters now save their position when saving the game.

Fixes:
-Various fixes for some bugs that crept in.

If you notice doors and shutters acting weird you will need to reset any creative saves you have. This will fix the issue.

Hello renovators! I hope you’re all doing well.

I need to do a quick update on the status of the game. Unfortunately, I’ve been down for the past couple of weeks with an illness in the family, myself being under the weather as well. It seemed like everything was pulling me away from the game. It’s been frustrating and I’ve been chomping at the bit to get back working full time on it. Thankfully things have settled down and I’m back full time on the game.

The career mode is coming along nicely. Most of what we are working on is infrastructure for the new mode and the game. Things like: email system, messaging, new UI, jobs, the new vertex painting system, debris, new house models (I’m very excited about this), various new assets, paint color customization, a hardware store…And many more little things. The maps will come last in the order of things.

We’ve added a new development branch for testing the development build of the game. You are free to try this branch but keep in mind that the game will be: buggy, glitchy, potentially unstable, not save game compatible, not feature complete and will not represent the actual current state of the game.

The beta branch is used for release candidate testing and you’re free to try that if you feel like it.

We’ve also added a youtube channel (not much there ATM). We’ll be adding some let’s plays as well as possibly some ‘watch the dev’ type stuff. Our channel is at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6aXK0obrhgp6prEA9SCkwg

We also desperately need to update the store page. We’ll try and do that in march.
