Sure you probably will only have ~35 of them from competing the game, but those who grind or when NG+ gets added will get to those 50 slots. Which is actually Impossible to fill out after upgrading everything.
I guess I just find it weird that the increase our "slots" by 250%, but decreased max relics equitable by 40%. I means that by the end the "cost" of a relic is meaningless because their individual cost eventually becomes a moot point.
i'd say many relics are rather situational. if you struggle with a boss that doesn't feature a stamina bar, you can skip break related relics and focus on bracelets, and help, with a stronger defense and use relics that do more damage the lower your health. for bosses with a stamina bar, take the relics which makes you do more break damage and regain magic faster so you can spam more ultimates. and for the casual environmental play take relics to gain more ressources.
i'd only like to see a few more equipable slots once they release NG+ and maybe increase difficult meters (not the on/off elements) by maybe 2-4 slots. for my 100% playthrough though, i maxed all skills, bought all equips, gotten all artwork and skins and only lacked the final relic points to be bought in the shop, a grind i saw no need for.
I mean I get it, spam Pressure abilities and break the game, but that sounds like a snoozefest to me personally.
It's definitely MUCH weaker than in Ender Lilies. Like half the effect, with much stricter activation requirements and double cost. It's still very nice to get a HP trickle back, and I've found you end up with a lot more HP when using it than when not.
Problem is that, as I mentioned, you will hit a point where it's 8 cost doesn't matter. Number of relics equipped eventually becomes the limiting factor, not the "slot cost".
Yeah, assume you use the literally worse relic in the game. Getting 0.5% of damage dealt, rounded down, back as HP is useless. Like IIRC only Lito and Nola (maybe No 9 with his Charge) do enough damage per hit to actual make it work.
The way I did it was get ending A normally with my normal endgame stuff, then grinded to max everything and set all the difficulty sliders to max before doing ending B, so both the boss and Lilac were at their max potential
A level 100 grind with 17 million EXP will take at least 4-5 hours with Blighted Dice+...
I recommend doing the Empyrean Parasol Interior route, only doing the main path without side branches or going for the breakables at the end (since chasing primarily EXP will get you almost all the materials you need anyways, and if you need a few extra materials at the end you can just AFK farm for those)
If you're using attuner arts to clear the screen, the route goes by very fast. Getting to lv 100 took about one 2h40m movie for me
