ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist

how long to beat this full version if I play on max difficulty ?
I put every slider on max difficulty - at 2 and activated the challenge where enemies dont show their attacks or so it says - but I still see their attack and react in time so don;t know if that challenge works ....

so far it feels like a real metroidvania like this and I like the challenge but I am worried the game will be really short - I defeated 4 bosses and already feel like I got the majority of abilities .... hope its just a feeling

so how many bosses are in total ? does it have at least 10 ?
with the map had a % of completed game like other metroidvanias

I am (I think) pretty far into the game and am very positively surprised by how long the game is.
At some point I had a similar feeling to yours. Glad to be proven wrong.

Also that "attack indicator" is a very short flash in the enemies' eyes when they commit to an attack. Turning it off disables that flash but animations are otherwise unchanged.
Ender Lilies took me 24hrs to 100% so I imagine this is around the same length.

yeah, really hoping this is near the same length, but the rate at which i'm unlocking important traversal spells is worrying. but then, the rate of upgrades and gear pieces (still don't even have 2 gear types) suggests otherwise. idk
if you bline everything and ignore the optional stuff about 10 maybe 15 hours.

If you're a crazy person like me that use perfect timing to get things you was supposed to use a traversal upgrade to get? about 15 to 30 hours depending on your skill level.

if you have one shot mode on? you looking a 24 hours at the lowest.
Yep, it's definitely longer. I got the carapace that allows me to block and started practicing... gave up dash in favor of barrier explode from carapace

Killed the next boss only by blocking his giant mace ... zero dash lol ... died a lot but managed to do it and he drops another block counter - hilarious, now I have 2

Interesting so they give an alternative to the dodge? Did they remove the parry spirit in turn? I remember parry being pretty busted in Ender Lilies, it never left my loadout
You still have the parry spirit... that's what the boss dropped abd it can be upgraded...
can't say if it's busted or not since it's too early but I plan on using it on every boss now.

I basically have a parry from an item which has no CD and it explodes dealing dmg but I also have spirit parry that has a long Cooldown but has a great riposte dmg ... so I use both because of the cd
yep just killed the next boss with double parry combo now ... deals a lot of dmg if you keep parrying and use the owl for automatic dmg while you parry around - and thats on max difficulty ... I imagine on normal the boss dies way faster
Took me 20 hours to 100% playing on normal difficulty.

Reached 27 hours and only defeated the witch - criminal boss on hard dif

The healing bot makes you want to throw away the computer

So it's gonna take me a lot of time apparently

She's manageable once you get break-related Relics and make sure to take out the bot right when it spawns. It instantly loses all of its Break Bar if you time it right. Not sure if that's intended or Lito does that, though. She also doesn't summon the healing bot once she's in phase 2, so there's also that.
On max difficulty with every slider to 2 you cannot take the bot immediately anymore... I had to fight to 3 - 4 bots summon everytime... it doesnt matter if you use attuner arts
I had lvl 47 too but still not enough dmg done no matter what I use

Bloody hell. Yeah, I didn't think of that. Hearing that makes me glad I'm playing with just 1.0 HP (but everything else is cranked up). At the very least, they should have way less base HP and way less Break gauge by default.
