Xtrap Error: Compatibility Mode

I have searched all over the internet for this problem, and have found nothing except a few unhelpful german forums.

I launch the game, it plays fine, and then it randomly crashes about 30 seconds in to any game. When I launch the game, Xtrap pops up with error code 13-0400-00000000-501 saying something about compatibility mode (which it is not in).

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Didn't you know, this client is obsolete for they shutdown the servers on US. :-(
