Game Resolutions (including 4k) not working. (Multiple monitor setup)
I have 2 monitors, 1 is full HD, and the other is ultra HD.

Changing primary monitor setting to the 4k monitor makes the game start up on that monitor, however the game will be stuck on a resolution of 1280x720 @60hz. I try to change it to 4k, doesn't do a thing.

If I start the game on the 1080p monitor, there is no problem and I can change resolutions to what I want.

In effect this means I cannot play Torment on a 4k resolution.

I just tested Nvidia Dynamic Super Resolution (x2,x4), and this does not work either!

(windows 10)

I have the same issue. The strange thing is it was working fine the first time I played yesterday, but now it is stuck at 1280X720. I tried the regedit suggetion and delted the Torment folder but that didn't do anything. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Maybe deleting my save games will work? I just started so no big deal. Well that didn't do anything either. I'd really like to get this fixed.

I finally found a fix. Set the resolution to 1920X1080 and restart your computer on the UHD monitor. You can then chage it to 2160p.

I have tried your method and it only let's it change to a max resolution of 1080p.
Are you sure the resolution really changes to 2160p? If you turn windowed mode on and start to change resolutions, you will see it doesn't make sense, if you change to 1080p the window itself is 4k and fills up the screen. If you change lower than 1080p it does not fill the screen, the resolution ratios are wrong. You can see the high resolutions do not stick to the settings because if you go out of options menu and then back in to graphics, it has reset to its current resolution which is 1080p in my case. Conclusion: the screen stays at max 1080p but fills the screen to 4k.

I even tried disconnecting the other monitor, and solo using the 4k monitor. To no avail.
Does the game even support native 4k?

Not only that, it's designed for 4k. Text is blurry when you play it at a lower resolution.

See here for a comparison: http://steamcommunity.com/app/272270/discussions/1/133258092256946326/?ctp=4#c133258593384867210

For your problem, you can try alt+enter to toggle fullscreen mode and drag the window from one display to another. The resolution dropdown list should adjust to the maximum supported resolution on that display.

My display's native resolution is 1920x1200. If the desktop resolution is 1920x1200 and I set DSR to 4.00x, Torment adds the resolution 3840x2400 to the list, but it will revert to 1920x1200. I have to set the desktop resolution to 3840x2400 as well for Torment's resolution to stick.

I also have a native 1920x1200 monitor...an R9 380 4GB, and I cannot get any resolution > native to function...it lets me choose but the res remains at 1920x1200. Every other game I have works fine with VSR.

It's kind of strange, too, because Wasteland 2 DC, runs in VSR mode @ 2560x1600 without a problem, but one of the improvements to the original game was it was rejiggered to use the Unity 5 engine--newer than the earlier Unity engine, which powered the original Wasteland 2--which also does not allow VSR support.

Update...the game reports it is using the Unity 5 engine, so, like Wasteland 2 DC, it should allow the use of VSR--but it doesn't, for some reason. Wish there was a way to force it to DX11....

I switched to windowed mode before I changed the resolution to 1920X1080, which I did on the HD monitor by dragging the window over. I then dragged the window back to the UHD monitor (which is actually my Sharp 43" UHD TV.) I closed the game window with the X in the corner and rebooted my computer. Boot info still shows in HD monitor, but the desktop comes up on my UHD TV. I then open Steam and launch the game. Once in game, I tick the full screen box again and change the resoution to 2160P (3840X2160).

Some added trivia...most TV's that are advertised at 4k really only do UHD. 4096X2160 is true 4K resolution.
