Anyone manage to open the pyramid/sphere puzzle?
The one in the Order of Truth?

I'm stumped. I'm pretty sure the faces you move the sphere through modify a value on scale, but I have no idea what order the colors are map to the scale! I can't figure this thing out!

ok, for some reason the pyramid puzzle is not letting me trying to solve it.

Ive translated the runes, and when i touched the sphere, nothing, no option to solve or try to open it. How did u guys get the option to open it? is there a quest that i need to do first? or advance the story or something?
you have to touch the sphere more than once.
Moving ball between 5 posibile spaces is actually trying to solve it.

Perfect solution requires to use all 10 position in specific order (but there also seem to be other solutions that use less then 10 positions for smaller reward).

If done correctly, you will get reward, otherwise nothing will happen.
Damn, I was so close.I only needed to switch two of the oranges. Isn't blazing orange closer to red than bright orange? That is strange.
ok... so the solution posted only gives u one of the items, how do u get both of them? I tried putting the order of intensity, but i still kept getting the solution to get the cypher.
Cant this thing only give u 1 of the 2 rewards?
To get the artifact necklace the order is: 3/2/4/4/6/5/5/6/2/3

Huh? 6 is just "examine the inscription again"

If you tried to "take the entire device" then it removes that option from the list, so you'd have to subtract one from all the numbers, as that is option 1 ordinarily.
thanks voodoo, mike, i dont know why i cant get the cypher now, loaded a previous save to get the necklace first, but now i cant get the cypher.
It doesnt matter anyways, the necklace is still better than the cypher.

Are there a lot of "puzzles" In this game?
A lot, no. But there are other puzzles.
The sphere in this riddle behaves very strangly. If you mix lurid red(2) and shining yellow(5), you'll get indigo. I'd expect orange if the colours are mixing and no change, if they are substracting (because you can't substract yellow from red).

How does it make any sense that you get bright orange from lurid red (2) and deep violet(1) (Which is the right way to go)? Adding the color would only make a slightly more reddish violet, removing it would leave you with blue.

To me it seems very incoherent. The solution just confuses me more, as it doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't think you can get both - the cypher is the consolation prize for half solving the puzzle while the ornament artifact is the superior (by a wide margin) reward for doing both. The sphere becomes the item you get, and once you get one, you're done.

Welcome to the Ninth World!
How dop you start the puzzle ? My nano does not get any option to change color or take the sphere through faces.

What? There's no mixing going on.

OK...soooo, found something quite interesting by accident...if you have the chromavulum oddity from lazaret when doing this puzzle you get the option to use it while completing the puzzle and the ornament turns out with different perks/attributes! I knew when i did this in early access it had some kinda healing power or innervate...whatever was said above concerning the function of the ornament. Well...this one is even more awesome imo:

Ok, finally remembered...forgot they wanted the color wheel basically backwards..hence "red dawn greets you, violet such n such ...yeah..at the end. Anyways, I received the "Beads of Time Neverending." This is an ornament artifact that you can only use during combat and it confers to an ally or self: +50% movement speed (Haste), 15% evasion, and 15% attack. I honestly do not remember if this is the same artifact I got in early access WITHOUT using the chromavulum oddity, or if it is different. Its fuzzy in my memory, but I really and truly don't remember the ornament granting haste, evasion, and plus to attack...I thought I remembered it having passives or some healing ability maybe?
Maybe I will go back and complete the puzzle without using the chromavulum oddity and see if there is a difference, but I will save that for another time or play through. If anyone else does this without the oddity please share etc.
