Companion Advice (spoiler-y)

Hi, I have a slight dilemma about my companions. To set up my question I'm gonna talk about some spoilers, straight up. Also gonna preface this by saying I'm DEFINITELY overthinking this lol.

Anyway, I just got to the Bloom and have been rocking Aligern, Rhin, and Erritis so far. Main character is a Nano, been playing a "good" character, mostly gold tide. I like Erritis and his effectiveness in combat, but it REALLY seems like having Matkina along for the rest of the game for her perspective as a castoff/history with the Bloom would be interesting. Aside from his personal quest, it just doesn't seem like Erritis has much to add to the overall narrative aside from occasional comic relief. In regards to personal quest, it seems like I can still resolve it by just swapping him for Matkina briefly when I meet the person who takes his essence in the Bloom and then regardless of whether or not I have him in my party I can still permanently release him from his demons later in the game. That's also why I'm thinking about swapping him out - might as well do it now if I'm gonna lose him permanently later, right?

So is Matkina relatively more interesting, storywise, to have in my party from Bloom on? Does Erritis have anything interesting to contribute anymore, assuming I can still complete his personal quest by swapping him out briefly? I'm not really worried about combat even though Matkina is underlevelled because it's been easy even without Erritis and Rhin is about to reach tier 3.

In the mutant quarter of Bloom there is a guy who can send Rhin to her homeworld, which would bypass your problem by letting you replace Rhin with Matkina.

That could actually work REALLY well, considering I (accidentally) know how that resolves itself later, but nah child Rhin is my bud. She's with me all the way. I think it would have to be Erritis or Matkina.
