[BUG] Bronze Sphere item

I found once a Bronze Sphere (don't remeber when exactly) but it is able to call only Callistege and/or Erritis. Is this a bug or Aligern does not like to be called by enigmats? :P

Aligern will not party with Calli, ever. And you need to have at least spoken to Erritis in order to summon him. If you have done, its probable you've ran into a bug.

I'm asking why I'm able to summon only Erritis and Callistege, and not other companions (like Aligern with whom I ran around a lot - Callistege was never in my party after I had to choose between Aligern and her) - is it by design or is it just a bug?

If Callistege is not currently in your party, it sounds like a bug. The Bronze Sphere should always be able to summon Aligern.

Unless you've triggered something that made him leave your party permanently? The Bronze Sphere will only summon willing people; if you, say, returned Rhin to the slavers or did something similarly monstrous, then Aligern will never party with you again. (Ironically, Erritis will object but won't leave over it, probably because he's not quite right in the head, to put it mildly.)

Try going down to the underside and recruiting him in-person, see what he says. If he joins, then you know it's a bug. If he refuses, you'll know why.

Ah I misread it. If either Ali or Calli are in the party, then the other will refuse to come. But the option should still be there. When you try and summon them for the first time, they are represented by a symbol rather than the name as an option.

So it appears that this is a bug. He always joins me when I talk to him in person, but when I use the artifact there is no option to call him. Now I'm in another location (sanctuary-like one), I was unable to recruit Tybir before because of a bug, now I can't call Aligern.. Great!
So.. I must stay with team I already use :x
